Too Much Pride (but not to admit it)

Hey folks,

I want to take a minute to touch base about the NNR’s schedule, it given how erratic it has been of late.

The reality I’m experiencing right now is that late May into June has been a very high-octane time, both in terms of the news cycle and for me professionally and personally. It is unfortunately not likely to let up until the end of the month at the earliest.

I am not abandoning this project, but I need to acknowledge that I won’t be able to pick it back up without overextending until Pride ends. Thank you for your patience as I try to find a sustainable rhythm–I know there’s a lot to cover right now, but I want to make sure I do it justice and I also want to avoid (further) burnout.

[Subsequent author’s note: The NNR went on much-needed sabbatical from Year 9, Week 18 to Year 9, Week 34, and returned on Year 9, Week 35.]
